Corporate Golf Days

Corporate Golf Days

Tuesdays are made available for corporate golf. We can look after up to 144 players with a “shotgun start” when all players tee off on different holes at the same time. This means they all finish together and can eat and mingle in the clubhouse without having to wait for others to finish.

Smaller numbers can choose between a one or two tee start from the 1st or 9th tees. Small bookings can often be accommodated on other days.

Depending on the golfing ability of those playing, we can arange an event to ensure that players of all standards are catered for. An Ambrose is often preferred, where all players play each shot and the best shot is used until the ball is holed out. Alternatively, a group of good golfers may prefer a stableford event or a four ball. We can help you decide on a format for the day.

We can also arrange for the nearest the pin markers on the par 3 holes and long / straight drive markers on nominated holes.

Registration

A registration table will be provided in the clubhouse. Score cards can be preprinted with your corporate name and the name of each player.

Completion of round

After golf, the locker rooms, towels and showers are available. We will set up a table for your prizes and if you wish, arrange for prizes to be purchased from our professional shop.

Golf Shop

Cromer Golf Club is fortunate to have one of Sydney’s leading club professionals, Nick Robb, available to assist you and your clients. Nick can provide clinics and coaching or even play a few holes with different clients, if you wish.

Our proshop staff can assist with checking score cards, finalising competitions and preparing prize sheets for your group. The golf shop has carts, buggies, golf sticks and golf shoes for hire. It stocks a good range of balls, tees, golfing equipment and clothes.

Advertising and Promotion

Signs and banners may be placed on the course, by our staff. They must be available the day prior to the event and collected the day after. We will assist with placing advertising and promotion material in the clubhouse.

Dress Rules

Cromer has similar dress standards to other leading private clubs. We require golfers to be neat and tidy, wearing golfing attire similar to that sold in golf shops. Denim is not permitted on the golf course but neat denim is appropriate in the clubhouse.

Catering

Catering requirements will vary depending upon when you would like to tee off. We can provide breakfast, lunch or dinner to suit. Choose from our catering and beverage packages by clicking on our “Functions Venues” page. If you would like something which is not included in our packages, please ask and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

A drinks cart is available for on-course refreshments. This will need to be driven by a staff member.

Booking, deposit and payment requirements

A deposit of $500 is required to secure your booking. This deposit is non-refundable if your booking is cancelled with less than three months notice.

Confirmation of final numbers and catering requirements is required 7 days prior to the event. You will be sent an account for the green-fees and food and beverage which must be paid in full, prior to the event. “Dry till” accounts are to be finalised on the day with payment by cash or credit card.
